If, a year ago, anyone said to me that I’d be taking my daughter to watch Cambridge United play I’d have thought you were crackers!

Some people might not think this is much of a milestone, but to me it’s huge. The fact she’s well enough to sit in the cold for about an hour (we didn’t make the full 90 minutes!) is just a miracle. Now, it did take some bribery, and thank goodness we were near an area where she could walk! But, hey, who cares!

This wasn’t an Aston Villa match, which will be a whole different level of emotion for me, but today was a VERY special day.
